We won silver trophies in two categories at the 2019 Recall Awards

This year, our agency took part in the Recall Advertising Creativity Award, regarded as the leading prize for agencies in the interior of São Paulo state. Among the 59 pieces short-listed by the jury, Dls/ managed to stand out and take home silver trophies in the Design and Graphic categories.

“It is very rewarding for all of us to see our work being recognized — I am really happy,” says designer Beatriz Scarso, one of the people behind the pieces for the “Coleção Independência” campaign, on which she worked together with illustrator Luís Prates.

At the awards, their pieces competed against work from agencies across several regions of the state of São Paulo. “For me, it was not just recognition — it was motivation. That little nudge… to keep getting better as a professional and to raise the quality bar, thinking as an individual and as a team,” says Prates.

The head of the creative team, Alison Moreira, was responsible for developing the pieces for the “Transformar Pixels em Arte” campaign, which took silver in the Graphic category. “I am very happy about the awards and, above all, about knowing we are among the best in the state,” he said after the ceremony.

Video maker Vinícius Nunes also acknowledges the importance of the award, well aware of the tradition the Recall carries in the advertising world. “The Recall award is, without a doubt, one of the events we look forward to most all year long, and winning two more trophies is very rewarding. Especially for us, from the countryside, competing against big cities and big campaigns. It is a tremendous honor,” says Nunes.
